Arashi Double-Gauze Cotton Scarf

This lightweight cotton scarf is hand-wrapped around poles and bound to create the dramatic, diagonal storm-like stripes of Arashi shibori. An elegant, fluid accessory that also makes a stunning mini-skirt, as we were pleased to discover. 

Organic cotton double-gauze bound, tied and dyed by hand in Denver. Each piece begins with the same exceptional cloth and leaves the vat with its own registration, pressure marks, and movement of color. Variation is not printed onto the garment. It is built into the process.
